Tonight we’re going out with the girls. It’s Lina’s birthday .She doesn’t think birthdays are a big deal so it doesn’t come as a surprise that she has no plans for it .But not to worry we got it covered😊.

One of us is doing her make up and I’ll be picking the outfit .Quite a task since she has no make up kit and her wardrobe is full of T shirts and jeans.To her comfort is key and the T shirts serve her with that .Another thing,I have never seen this girl with heels .She doesn’t even own a pair .I mean how th does she survive?🤔

“We should have probably started planning this out like a month ago”I say out loud looking at the heap of clothes on the bed .

What’s a basic outfit according to you?

To most it’s the outfit they’ll wear during weekends .Well to me it’s the type of outfit that I’ll just get out of the shower and pick it without much thought .

NB:It’s not the type you wear for occasions😂 or anything special .

You know those few days in a week whereby you feel bored and not really in the mood for dressing up well that’s where the basic outfit comes in handy.

You “meh” yourself into an outfit .

T shirts are comfortable,you don’t have to worry about decency,they come with different prints on them,different neck types,different colors so you can pick whichever pleases you .What else do you want ?😂😂

Pair that with jeans or any other type of pants and rubber shoes ,heels or sandals .You’re good to go☺.

I easily recognized her as she crossed the street.That was definitely lina ,my highschool sweetheart .How time flies ,I remember the old days when we’d sneak and meet behind Kepwa’s store 😂 good old days indeed.

We had lost touch after her family relocated to Berlin 5 years ago .What was she doing around ?

She looked beautiful and tall oh wait…it’s the heels nevermind lol.I caught the fragrance of her strong perfume as she came my way .As our eyes locked we both smiled .

I couldn’t quite place her accent. It felt nice hearing my name from her mouth though😊….

People have different opinions when it comes to different pieces of clothing say like blazers ,tshirts,ripped jeans and berets.

For blazers they’ll simply say “it’s too official”

For Tshirts well …that’s too casual

For the ripped jeans they’ll say ,”That’s a sign of poverty,once your pants are torn simply buy new ones,my mum would throw away such pants,ripped jeans should be sown immediately .They are disrespectful ,revealing body parts that should be covered.

Well personally i think if your comfortable wear them. If you’re not don’t even dare.Always wear something you’re comfortable with .That’s like my rule number one while picking an outfit .

If you want to portray that “serious but not serious look” well why not combine the casual and official and voilaa you got yourself a sassy look …

I love this look because it’s simple and classy at the same time. Before i pick an outfit i consider alot of things which I’ll clearly explain in one of my blogs .
